Directed by Gareth Edwards, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story tells the story of resistance fighters who have united to steal plans to the dreaded Death Star.

Rogue One is produced by Kathleen Kennedy and shot at Pinewood Studios in the UK, using Pinewood Digital.

Rogue One takes place before the events of Star Wars: A New Hope and will be a departure from the saga films but have elements that are familiar to the Star Wars universe

Staring Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Forest Whitaker and Mads Mikkelson Rogue One, was released in the UK on 16th December 2016.
