The BFI Academy Scheme introduces young people aged 16-25, across the country to film and television production. Pinewood Group give their support by offering studio space for training events and the schemes graduation at both Pinewood and Shepperton Studios. The scheme is open to all local young people who are interested in filmmaking and television either for general interest or as a career.

Support is also given to BFI Into Film which introduces and encourages young people from an early age to appreciate film. As the BFI’s lead partner in film education, Into Film’s visionary programme is a UK-wide initiative to give 5-19 year-olds the opportunity to watch, make and understand film.
