Pinewood Group (“Pinewood”) is announcing today its decision to further expand the iconic Shepperton Studios, in Surrey, United Kingdom. This decision means the expansion will now total approximately, 1 million sq ft of new production accommodation, and comprise 17 sound stages.

Pinewood is also announcing today that it has agreed a long-term contract with Netflix to double the size of its existing production hub at Shepperton Studios. This new contract reinforces Netflix’s commitment to Shepperton Studios and the UK film industry.

Construction work is underway and once complete, Shepperton Studios will be one of the largest film and TV studios in the world. Occupation is expected to commence in 2023.
