Role summary

Working within the Marketing and Communications team, this role reports to the Head of Group Communications, and is a guardian of the Pinewood brand. Working collaboratively to continue to drive the brand’s success.

Principle accountabilities

  • Lead planning and implementation of the organisation’s brand and marketing plans, that will enhance the organisation’s image, reputation and position within the market, working with the Head of Group Communications.
  • Responsible for the management of the Group’s brand and marketing assets and Guidelines. Including the collation, development and management of assets for the Group (showreel, drone and photography) & maintain brand asset accessibility on Spotlight & the Digital Asset Management Tool.
  • Collaborate with Commercial Analyst and help coordinate and share industry knowledge and insights on competitors. Provide recommendations for marketing and digital initiatives feeding into ongoing strategy development and how to incorporate lessons into future activations.
  • Working together in the Marketing and Communications team to plan brand and marketing initiatives around internal and external publicity and events.
  • Support Customer Experience initiatives with the continued improvement of the customer journey and experience across the Groups facilities and services, including wayfinding and onsite signage and displays
  • Managing the tracking of uniform and merchandise
  • Help to support key revenue departments and international studio partnerships and drive visibility and profiling opportunities for those teams with targeted ads, panel opportunities and marketing collateral for global sales etc.
  • Participate and collaborate in Marketing and Communication and HR team for activation of group wide initiatives and support with Business Calendar deadlines and updates.
  • Support and maintain relationships with industry brand partners to secure brand reputation across multiple sectors, alongside the Head of Group Communications
  • Work with the digital marketing lead in the team to ensure website content is up to date including day-to-day uploads.
  • Support and run events including On the lot and Community Engagement including building, collating information and designing Eventbrite pages and newsletters.
  • Assumes budget tracking and support for the team (including raising POs).

Nature and scope

The Brand and Content Marketing Manager has interfaces with internal and external stakeholders. The role leads on brand activations and marketing opportunities. The planning horizons are typically quarterly and annually. Working collaboratively and taking the lead with own initiative on projects.

Skills and experience

Essential criteria
  • Educated to Degree Level or with equivalent industry experience
  • Experience of working in a brand role for a multi-faceted organization
  • Substantial experience working in marketing or branding within agency or in-house
  • Strong Excel and Powerpoint, reporting and analytical skills
  • Knowledgeable in branding strategies
  • Knowledge and experience of analytics tools such as Google Analytics
  • Capable of working under pressure and to a deadline
  • Confidence, diplomacy and excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills
  •  Excellent project management skills
  • Flexible attitude with ability to juggle multiple and shifting priorities.
Desirable criteria
  • Experience in the entertainment sector (film/games/TV)
  • Knowledge of Photoshop or equivalent
  • Experience of newsletter platforms useful
  • Strong client and partnership relations skills
