Eoin Egan is promoted to SVP, Tara Halloran joins as VP, North American Partnerships and VP roles for Megan Guy and Kevin Bar

In a move that bolsters Pinewood International’s position in North America, its New York-based representative, Eoin Egan becomes Senior Vice President.  A leading production services provider to the international film and TV community, Pinewood International sees New York as a key strategic hub and Egan’s new role sees him take the lead on international expansion, identifying and developing global strategic partnerships

In tandem with this news, US-based former British Film Commission executive, Tara Halloran has joined Pinewood International as VP, North American Partnerships, to lead on business development and marketing out of Los Angeles.

Megan Guy and Kevin Bar who operate out of Pinewood Studios Toronto and Pinewood Studios Atlanta respectively, both step up to Vice President roles.

The Pinewood Group’s footprint extends beyond the iconic UK studios and includes Toronto, China, Dominican Republic, Malaysia and what is soon to be the largest media hub outside of LA in Atlanta, Georgia.  All international operations carry the Pinewood standard of excellence.  Offering much more than 4-wall rental, Pinewood International is now engaged in packaging projects, via development and production funding, tax credit cash flow, studio rental, production and post production services.

Eoin Egan

SVP Pinewood International

Eoin joined Pinewood Group in 2008 and has held positions as an executive for the Group in London, Toronto and New York. In 2016, Eoin was appointed SVP of Pinewood International overseeing sales and marketing for the international studios and production services from North America.

Tara Halloran

VP, North American Partnerships

Tara Halloran began her career at Film Base, an organization dedicated to emerging filmmakers, before helming Moonstone International, the European satellite of the Sundance Institute, where she spent five years before joining Creative Skillset as its first Screen Academy Manager.  During this time, she also worked as a freelance script editor.  In 2008 she left London to join the UK Film Council’s Los Angeles office as Senior Executive, Industry Relations.  Prior to joining Pinewood, Tara was engaged by the newly the British Film Commission US Office as SVP, US Partnerships.

Tara is a graduate of Trinity College Dublin (MA Italian & French) and post-graduate of University College Dublin (Arts Management) and the NFTS (Script Development).

Megan Guy

VP, Pinewood Toronto Studios

Megan Guy joined the Pinewood Group in 2012 as International Sales Executive with Pinewood Toronto Studios.

In her new role as VP she is responsible for overseeing the strategic and day-to-day operations, sales and business development with a specific focus on expanding locations and production services into the Canadian market.

Before joining Pinewood, Megan worked for international film group uMedia where she oversaw VFX and post production. Previous to that she was an associate producer and production and development executive with an independent production company in the UK, overseeing a slate of international co-productions.

Megan is a graduate of Ryerson University’s School of RTA

Kevin Bar

VP, Pinewood Atlanta Studios

Kevin Bar worked with Viacom International, in both New York and London, managing International production operations and content management for multiple Viacom brands (MTV, VH-1, Comedy Central) prior to joining Pinewood in Atlanta.  His other industry experience includes producing award-winning feature films, documentaries, and branded content, and in 2014 he developed feature film projects with Amazon Studios and Nickelodeon Films.  Kevin holds a B.A degree in Telecommunications from Indiana University and a Liberal Arts Degree from Loyola University Rome Center.
