A few months ago Shepperton Rotary approached the studios with a predicament. The Christmas sleigh that visits every street in Shepperton over the festive season was losing its home. The Rotary contacted us and asked if we could help. Understanding the joy that the sleigh brings to so many people in December, we decided to help.
We located a 40ft container at our Pinewood Studios and requested the details from the company that owned the container, a German shipping company. Hiring in a crane and huge artic vehicle, the container was picked up from Pinewood and delivered to it’s ne location in Shepperton.
We were delighted to have helped and thank the Ian and the Rotary club for their help with the logistics of moving the container.
