Awards season has well and truly kicked off this week. Roma, which completed foley and sound mix with Pinewood Creative’s audio team, has won ‘Best Motion Picture – Foreign Language’ and ‘Best Director – Motion Picture’ at the Golden Globes and has been nominated for 7 BAFTAS.
Huge congratulations to Glen Gathard and Jemma Riley Tolch in Pinewood’s Creative audio team whose work as foley mixers on Bohemian Rhapsody has them nominated for the Cinema Audio Society Awards, this is Jemma’s first ever nomination. Bohemian Rhapsody is also up for 7 BAFTAS, including ‘Sound’.
Other BAFTA nominations for films supported by Pinewood Creative Services or shot at the Studios are Mary Poppins Returns, Mary Queen of Scots, Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, Mission: Impossible – Fallout, Avengers: Infinity War, Stan & Ollie and Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.
