The nominees for the EE Rising Star Award were announced on 14 January as Archie Madekwe, Chase Infiniti, Miles Caton, Posy Sterling and Robert Aramayo. It is the only award voted for by the British public and it is presented annually to a performer who has demonstrated exceptional talent early in their careers. Voting is now open at ee.co.uk/bafta.

Alan Cumming will host the EE BAFTA Film Awards 2026
The EE BAFTA Film Awards ceremony will be held at the Southbank Centre’s Royal Festival Hall in London and broadcast as-live on BBC One and iPlayer and internationally, as part of an unmissable celebration of British and global film hosted by multi-award-winning actor, writer, producer and TV host, Alan Cumming.
