The wait is over. It’s a bittersweet moment as we prepare for the end of an era with the final instalment of the Avengers saga, Avengers: Endgame. To celebrate its release, we are taking a look back at the 12 Marvel Cinematic Universe films that have shot with Pinewood Group.
The journey began here at Pinewood and Shepperton Studios in 2011 with Captain America: The First Avenger. The Underwater Stage was used for the famous submarine chase.


The next Marvel film to be shot at Shepperton was Thor: The Dark World in 2013. The film was supported by Pinewood Digital.
The following year, Guardians of the Galaxy was filmed at Shepperton Studios. The film was supported by Pinewood Digital and foley recording was provided by Pinewood Creative Audio and in 2015, Avengers: Age of Ultron shot at Shepperton Studios. The film was supported by Pinewood Digital and foley recording was provided by Pinewood Creative Audio.


The same year, Ant-Man christened Pinewood Atlanta Studios – the very first film ever to shoot there! Captain America: Civil War was filmed at Pinewood Atlanta Studios in 2016.


Marvel arrived back at Shepperton Studios in 2016 with Doctor Strange. The film was supported by Pinewood Digital whilst the second instalment of Guardians of the Galaxy was filmed at Pinewood Atlanta Studios in 2017.


Also, in 2017, Pinewood Atlanta Studios was home to Spider-Man: Homecoming.
Avengers: Infinity War shot at Pinewood Atlanta Studios in 2018 and was supported by Pinewood Digital. The infamous New York battle scene took place between the stages at the studios.


In 2018, Ant-Man and the Wasp was filmed at Pinewood Atlanta Studios.
2019 is the year it all concludes. Avengers: Endgame is in cinemas now, shot at Pinewood Atlanta Studios and supported by Pinewood Digital.
