Pinewood Studios Futures Festival 2025 speakers announced

Futures Festival 2025 is set to be Europe’s biggest free careers event for those looking to start a career in the Film & TV industry and will once again open the gates of Pinewood Studios to 4,000 young people across the UK on Fri 28 February and Sat 1 March.

This year, the speaker sessions will be hosted by Radio One Film Critic and Journalist Ali Plumb and will feature an eclectic mix of talks, panel interviews and Q&As. The lineup for day one will include Oscar-winning  Costume Designer Lindy Hemming (The Dark KnightPaddingtonWonka), Production Designer Sonja Klaus (The PowerX-Men: First Class), Director Tim Kent (The AwakeningSparrow’s Call) and panels with Marvel Studios Producer Callum McDougall, VFX studio Industrial Light & Magic (ILM) and the British Film Commission.

Completing the programme for day two of the festival will be Producer Director Colin Trevorrow (Jurassic World), BAFTA Cymru Award-winning Costume Designer Jany Temime (Harry Potter, SkyfallJudy), Oscar-winning Sound Editors Nina Hartstone and Louise Burton (Saltburn, Bohemian Rhapsody), Art Department Sculptor Brian Muir (Star WarsHarry PotterGuardians of the Galaxy) and panels with British Stunt RegisterIndustrial Light & Magic (ILM) and The National Film and Television School (NFTS) Alumni.

As well as the speaker sessions with industry experts, attendees will be lead on a tour of the Studios and have the opportunity to speak to over 50 companies from across the industry including Disney, Lucasfilm, Marvel, Greens Team, MBS Lighting, Cineco and many more, you can read the full list on the Futures Festival website via the link below. There will be live demonstrations of equipment, technology and Diving Services on the Underwater Stage as well as 150 stormtroopers and Star Wars characters to meet along the way.
