Pinewood Studios granted permission to deliver Five Points roundabout improvements

Buckinghamshire Council has approved plans to allow Pinewood Group to undertake technical highways works to improve traffic flow, pedestrian, and cycle safety on the Five Points roundabout in Iver Heath, Buckinghamshire.

This permission delivers on the improvements included as part of the ‘Pinewood South Development Framework’ planning permission to expand the Pinewood Studios site.

Pinewood Group have worked closely with Buckinghamshire Council to bring forward a scheme that improves the capacity of the junction through providing additional lanes and adding signals. To improve safety, the investment will also deliver signalised toucan crossings on all arms of the roundabout which connect with shared footway and cycleways.

We’re very happy with Buckinghamshire Council’s decision to approve this scheme which will allow us to invest in and deliver necessary improvements to the Five Points roundabout to allow for easier and safer vehicle, cycle, and pedestrian travel. We look forward to working closely with Buckinghamshire Council Highways and are hoping to start the scheme before the end of the year.
