| On the 10th May 2016, The Shadow First Secretary of State, Shadow Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills, Angela Eagle MP, and Shadow Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport, Maria Eagle MP, visited Pinewood Studios to meet with its apprentices.
The apprentices include (left to right): Sammy Jackson – Team Leading Apprenticeship (Amersham and Wycombe College), Chris O’Connell – Painter Apprenticeship, Holly Charge – Creative Apprentice – Post production (East Berkshire College), Leigh Reid – Creative Apprentice – Post production) (East Berkshire College), Jade Saunders – Business Administration Apprenticeship (Amersham and Wycombe College), Joe Butler – IT Apprenticeship (Uxbridge College). Pinewood’s apprenticeship scheme is a step towards investing in young talent by allowing its staff to take on apprenticeships through local Colleges, recieving a nationally recognised qualification once completed. During their visit, the MPs toured parts of the Studio, including a visit to Pinewood Creative’s workshops. |
