£180,000 RELEASED TO SPELTHORNE BOROUGH COUNCIL
Shepperton Studios have released £180,000 to Spelthorne Borough Council for the improvement of three play areas within the communities local to the Studios, Shepperton, Laleham and Charlton Village. Spelthorne Borough Council will begin the process of arranging and implementing the refurbishments. Once all three refurbishments are complete, Shepperton Studios will have invested in the improvement of four local play areas in total. The first round took place in 2021 for the ‘Studios Walk’ play area next to the Studios. The £50,000 refurbishment was also paid for by Shepperton Studios with the works carried out by Spelthorne Borough Council.
We are delighted to fund the refurbishments to these play areas for local children and the community. We are looking forward to implementing further initiatives that will benefit our neighbours for years to come.
