The Chancellor of the Exchequer has today announced a package of support for the British film industry in the Spring Budget statement. The key decisions include a 40% rebate for Business Rates over 10 years. Pinewood Group issued the following statement.
“We are delighted the Government has chosen to continue to support the UK film and high-end television industry by providing a meaningful rebate on business rates for an extended period. The decision will help support further investment and thereby ensure the UK remains the number one production hub in the world.”
