The Pinewood and BAFTA Crew Vision Lab hosts leading female technicians

Pinewood Studios and BAFTA hosted leading female technicians as part of the ‘The Pinewood and BAFTA Crew Vision Lab’. The event heard the perspectives of Colourist, Jet Omoshebi; Assistant Editor, Emma Mccleave; Digital Imaging Technician, Núria Pérez and Visual Effects Producer, Noga Alon-Stein on topics from how to broaden opportunities for women working in technical roles, to how to master details of picture workflow from camera to delivery.

BAFTA Crew is a professional development network for craft and technical talent with two to four main team credits across key roles within production. The Crew Labs are an opportunity for professionals in the early stages of their careers to gain insight and advice from a panel of industry experts.

The panel professionals have worked on some of the biggest productions in film and television. Together, their credits include The Little Drummer Girl, Guardians of the Galaxy, Been So Long, Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again and Dirty Pretty Things.

After the panel, guests joined the panellists for advice and tips on how to build their careers.
