Audio Mixing

Pinewood's facilities offers state-of-the-art technology and an extensive range of mixing theatres available for dry hire. Our 17 theatres range in size from the Powell Theatre, the largest Dolby® AtmosTM mixing theatre in the UK, to smaller rooms suitable for broadcast and streaming service mixes.

Localisation

With localisation in over 40 languages, we have been at the forefront of implementing technology and innovative workflows that are now recognised as industry standard. This guarantees an extremely high quality of work while adhering to the demanding schedules of worldwide day and date releases.

ADR

With dedicated ADR Theatres located at Pinewood and Shepperton we have a proven track record in supporting productions both on and off the lot with all of their voice capture requirements with the option of using remote collaboration tools to connect talent and creatives across the globe.

Loop Group / Crowd Recording

We have a number of larger acoustically treated Theatres suitable for dialogue sensitive motion capture sessions and Loop Group / Crowd Recording and at Shepperton we can now offer interior and exterior Loop Group / Crowd recording using Theatre 2 for interior recording and as a bad weather back-up for exterior sessions.

Screening

When screening your project, whether on the lot, for a preview or event, Pinewood’s screening theatres are capable of running all film and digital formats. The largest preview theatres are the John Barry Theatre at Pinewood and the Korda Theatre at Shepperton.

Cutting Rooms

In addition to 17 theatres, more than 40 cutting rooms and production offices are available across both Pinewood and Shepperton for dry or wet hire. These include air conditioning, managed security access and the ability to play directly into screening rooms.
